Lia Efstathiadi is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). She studied in Thessaloniki and holds a BA, an MA, and a PhD from the School of English (AUTH). She teaches language courses in 1st year students. She has published articles on Epistemic Modality, FL aptitude and Working Memory.  She takes a particular interest in Second Language Acquisition, Vocabulary acquisition by young learners, Language Aptitude, Executive Functions, Working Memory, Corpus Linguistics, Modality.
