Ôhe course focuses on the four basic language skills and the role they play in language learning and teaching. Ôhe course will provide an extensive treatment concerning advances in research, techniques and strategies that learners need to develop, and practical issues that show how the skills can be integrated in order to develop learners’ communicative competence. Ét is hoped that such a procedure will help teachers develop an understanding of how each skill is likely to be learned and, consequently, make the most appropriate choices in their teaching practices.
