Michalis Milapides is an associate professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, of the School of English, Aristotle University, Greece. He holds an MA, Linguistics, the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D., Linguistics (Aspects of Ellipsis in English and Greek), Aristotle University. He teaches and researches in English as a foreign language and discourse analysis, with a particular interest in media analysis and advertising. Among his publications are: Milapides, M. (1989).
