Õou’re cordially invited by the Department of American Literature and Culture, School of English AUTh to the International Symposium titled “John Ashbery in the American Poetry Scene” which is organized on the occasion of the AUTh Centenary Anniversary & International Poetry Day.
The Symposium aims at showcasing the multifaceted poetry work of John Ashbery, a distinguished American poet, by bringing together speakers and poets from Greece and abroad. The presentations, roundtable and workshops that take place in the two-day international event highlight the unique power and aesthetics of Ashbery's poetic writing in the contemporary literary scene.
