Πρόσκληση ενδιαφέροντος για συμμετοχή στις συναντήσεις 2023-24

Η ερευνητική ομάδα Γλωσσικής Ανάπτυξης και Διαταραχών δίνει τη δυνατότητα σε μεταπτυχιακούς/ές φοιτητές/ήτριες (όπως και σε όλους/ες τους/τις ενδιαφερόμενους/ες προπτυχιακούς/ές φοιτητές/ήτριες και τα μέλη του Τμήματος) να παρουσιάσουν την έρευνά τους ή να συζητήσουν άρθρα σχετικά με τα ενδιαφέροντά τους. ΟΙ συζητήσεις θα αφορούν την πειραματική γλωσσολογία και ψυχογλωσσολογία με βάση θεωρητικά μοντέλα γλωσσικής ανάλυσης. Τα μέλη θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσουν έρευνά τους που είναι σε εξέλιξη, ερευνητικές προτάσεις, ή έρευνα που είναι προς ανακοίνωση σε συνέδρια. Οι συναντήσεις της ερευνητικής ομάδας για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2023-24 ξεκινούν αρχές Νοεμβρίου και θα διεξάγονται εξ αποστάσεως μέσω Zoom.

Seminar on Multimodal Transcription for Critical Thinking

The Language Development Lab and the Foreign Language Teaching Laboratory of the School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, will be hosting a seminar by Dr Nickolas Komninos (Lecturer in linguistics and communication, University of Udine) on Multimodal Transcription for Critical Thinking on Friday, May 20th, 5:00-6.30 pm, in room 01 (New Wing).

Abstract
This seminar will look at the methods and results of two research projects dealing with Multimodal literacy. It will consider how greater multiliteracy training through multimodal transcription can aid critical thinking. It looks at pedagogic strategies employing SFL based multimodal transcription tools (Multimodal Analysis Image Software developed by Prof. Kay O’Halloran) and monitoring tools for student progression (Komninos 2019).
