Gudrun Erickson   

Gudrun Erickson is Senior Professor of Education in language and assessment at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Originally a language teacher with long experience of teacher education and national and international projects on second and foreign language learning, teaching and assessment, including work on the use and implementation of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Commissioned for some twenty years by the Swedish National Agency for Education as project leader for the development of mandatory national tests and additional formative and summative assessment materials of English and other modern languages in Sweden; after her recent, part-time retirement, scientific leader of the project. Engaged in EALTA (European Association for Language Testing and Assessment) from the start of the association and its president between 2013 and 2016.
