Eleni Agathopoulou

Dr Eleni Agathopoulou is Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a BA and a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading, U.K. She has taught English as a foreign language in primary and secondary education for 6 years and English for Specific Purposes at the Center of Foreign Language Teaching, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for 7 years. Currently she teaches courses in second language acquisition/learning and teaching. She has published and presented papers on L2 morphology and syntax, learning strategies, focus-on-form instruction and English for Academic Purposes.
