Roubina Tokkou - Ninou

Dr Roubina Tokkou-Ninou is Lecturer in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She received her honours degree in English Language and Philology from the School of English, Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She pursued graduate studies in London, Davies’s School of English, and at the University of Birmingham. She received her PhD in Applied Linguistics from the School of English, Aristotle University. Title of her thesis: Methodology of Teaching Writing.

Her publications include articles on the Methodology of Teaching Writing, as well as the book Writing I: A Course book for University Students of English, Aristotle University Publication Service, 1997. She has also co-authored with Mary Valiouli the book of exercises Written Text Comprehension Exercises, Aristotle University Publication Service, 1996. Her most recent work is original teaching materials that she uses for the new course Language Mastery II, one of the courses that she currently teaches at the School.
